Adele graduated in philosophy in 1996 and took training in the area of counselling and psychology and group dynamics before undertaking a training course in conflict management skills in 1997. She is an Accredited Practitioner Member with the Mediators Institute of Ireland and has been working as a Mediator since 1998. Adele mediates both family and work place conflicts. Much of Adele's work is with couples whose marriage/committed relationship is coming to an end and who wish to resolve the issues raised by their separation in the best way possible, both for themselves and for their children.
Adele was appointed to the Board of The Mediators Institute of Ireland in 2001 and contributed, in that role, to the development of the profession in Ireland.
Since 2001 Adele has presented MII accredited generic training courses in mediation and conflict management along with her colleagues Michael Williams and Grace Corrigan.
